I see a lot in the press talking about the Metaverse and how we will be spending our time with headsets on interacting with networks. However, the recent problems with Twitter and the increase of people using Mastodon has brought me to investigating the ActivityPub protocol.
ActivityPub works with WordPress to allow your site to post to Mastodon for your blog post to be seen by followers, just like other toots.

Made some changes to the security settings on my WordPress site. Hoping this still posts to Mastodon
I am currently adding the ActivityPub plugin to WordPress sites to allow posts to become viewable on Mastodon.
